2011: R. Buckminster Fuller Is In The House

R. Buckminster Fuller Flying in Airplane
Join us for a small reception at 4pm on January 9th as we unveil an exhibit and sale of Richard Buckminster Fuller items. Buckminster Fuller (July 12, 1895 — July 1, 1983) was an American engineer, author, designer, inventor, an early environmental activist and futurist. He is credited with bringing the term “ecology” back from its Greek origins and is the inventor of the geodesic dome. Many of the one-of-a-kind items for sale were associated with The Conference on World Affairs, an annual event founded in 1948 by Howard Higman, a professor of Sociology at the University of Colorado. This is sure to be an exhibit you won’t want to miss.
