There’s a lot happening here this coming weekend!
On Saturday, June 9th, the 30th Annual Highlands Street Fair will be going on all day, so come mingle with your neighbors and with your brethren and sistren from other Denverian demses. We’ll have a big sale in the lot next to our bookstore, so come load up on books!
HOWEVER – If you feel like visiting us for a quieter event, when parking spots are not so very far away and the crowds are thinner, consider coming in on Sunday for a reading and discussion on Northwest Denver history by historian Mark A. Barnhouse. His newest book, Northwest Denver, is a great introduction to the local lore, and a great addition to any aficionado’s collection.
Lastly – in light of upcoming events we are taking a short break from book intake. We will not be looking at books for trade on Saturday, June 9th or Tuesday, June 12th, but we will be starting again on Saturday, June 16th. As usual, we appreciate not receiving books on days other than Tuesdays and Saturdays without appointment.
